Using the same technique with strips and batting, this second rug option creates a rectangle and avoids stitching around tight corners
Uses 1 jelly roll and 1 1/2 yards of cotton batting.
Cozy Tip: the pattern calls for cotton batting that you cut into 2 1/2" strips. But check out batting on a roll product by Bosal that's already cut into strips! it's 100" cotton and on one continuous roll!
