This ultimate quilt-as-you-go method for curves and odd angles allows you to attempt otherwise difficult designs with ease and accuracy. No piecing necessary. Just press the rotary cut shapes directly on the batting in place and sew a custom made bias tape over the raw edges. Now your quilt pattern is quilted and only needs binding.  The technique is ideal for the use of double sided fusible batting, although regular batting with  a content of at least 50% natural fibers will work as well.
Decide if you want your strips and borders/binding to be plain or busy & choose your coordinates accordingly.  Avoid obvious directional prints like faces or houses as fabrics are being cut across the width of fabric.
